We are...

... the Innerkofler family from Sesto/Sexten in the beautiful Alta Pusteria valley. We, that is Milena and Alfred, son and chef Dominik, and Kathrin with the two children Luis and Sofia, as well as son Fabian.

Alfred brought his enthusiasm for gastronomy into the family, and so 23 years ago, we fulfilled a dream by taking over the Dreischusterhütte in the Innerfeldtal in the Sesto Dolomites. With Milena by his side, the enthusiasm for the hospitality industry steadily grew.

When our first son Dominik was born in 1999, it was soon clear where his path would lead. Already at the age of 2, he wished for a small toy kitchen; cooking was and still is his great passion. Later, he attended the Hotel Management School in Bressanone/Brixen and completed his cooking apprenticeship at the 5-star Hotel Monika in Sexten. The South Tyrolean Culinary Association crowned him "Best Young Chef" in 2019.

The Luis Alm...

... is our lifelong dream. With this little gem, named after our grandson and Dominik's son Luis, we have finally been able to realize our long-cherished desire to call something special our own after a long search.
For Dominik, it was immediately clear that he wanted to turn it into a restaurant with upscale gastronomy. Any initial skepticism about whether this type of cuisine could work in our area soon disappeared, and since then, we have been delighting our guests with innovative cuisine with a traditional touch.
Three small, cozy dining rooms, each in a different style, accommodate 50 people. There is space for 25 people on our sunny terrace.

... at the Luis Alm since May 2022, with a lot of love for the product, a great deal of passion, and the aim of constantly surprising our guests and pampering their palates.

Dominik's philosophy in his kitchen revolves around the idea of reinterpreting traditional dishes and creating something special, something magical, predominantly using local products. We place great importance on using local meat, and we strive to incorporate fruits and vegetables from the respective seasons whenever possible.
Our small but fine restaurant offers a menu with approximately 18 dishes, which change on a monthly basis. Guests can expect specialty weeks throughout the year.

We place great value on selected wines and offer our guests an extensive wine list focusing on South Tyrol. We also feature many Italian and international top wines as well as a selection of champagnes.

You can find us... Sexten in the beautiful Hochpustertal, at the foot of the Rotwand - Drei Zinnen Dolomites ski lifts. A large parking lot is available for our customers.

In winter, the toboggan run ends right at our Luis Alm, and you can also rent sleds from us. In summer, we are the starting point for numerous hikes in a unique mountain landscape. A large sun terrace with an adjacent garden and an priceless panoramic view awaits our guests.

We work with...

...strong partners, right here on-site. These include local farmers, dairies, and wineries, among others. This allows us to guarantee our guests that we use "zero km" products to the greatest extent possible, which are produced and sold in our immediate vicinity, ensuring freshness on the plate.

Furthermore, we are an official partner of Luis Trenker and dress our staff in the finest attire. Since its founding in 1995, the South Tyrolean label Luis Trenker stands for long-lasting clothing, refined accessories and handmade shoes.
High quality standards and a production almost exclusively processed in Europe characterise the brand and so does its love for details and the extraordinary.
